Twelve years ago, Elena Vale left Crimson City after her mother’s death and her father’s disappearance. She grew up believing both tragedies had been buried by people with enough money and influence to make the truth disappear. Then an anonymous sender delivers seven seconds of private surveillance footage: a man who looks unmistakably like her father, attending an invitation-only dinner only months earlier.
Elena returns and reluctantly partners with crisis strategist Adrian Cross. What begins as an inquiry into an old redevelopment deal expands into a hidden alliance of banks, media owners, law firms, and legacy families known as The Circle. Elena learns that her mother had obtained evidence capable of dismantling the network. Her father, meanwhile, did not simply vanish—he entered The Circle from within and has spent years maintaining a fragile protection around his daughter.
The closer Elena gets, the more compromised every relationship becomes. Adrian is revealed to have handled one of the sealed records connected to her mother’s death. Elena must decide who is protecting her, who is managing her, and whether exposing the truth will free her family—or destroy the only thing that has kept them alive.
