Announcement dated 9 June 2025
On 9 June 2025, Mega Matrix announced AIFLIX, a joint venture with Wardour Studios for AI-generated short dramas. Wardour would lead production and post-production, while Mega Matrix would contribute development and FlexTV distribution experience. This reports the companies’ stated plan at that time, not verified delivery results or a new October 2026 launch.
What an independent team still needs to confirm
For an independent AI-drama team, the announcement is a partnership signal, not an open application. It establishes no general intake deadline, grant amount or standard revenue share. Before preparing a proposal, confirm whether an external route exists, which organisation would contract with you, and the required rights and deliverables.
